Okanagan Information Security Group

The Vancouver information security community has had the Vancouver Security SIG (SecSIG) -- a.k.a. the (ISC)2 Vancouver chapter -- and the ISACA Vancouver chapter for a long time. 

Never one to be left behind for too long, the Okanagan is now getting its own information security organization: the Okanagan Information Security Group (OISG).

We're holding a kick-off social on Wednesday, August 29, at 17:30 at CRAFT Beer Market in Kelowna.  Register for free for the social here:

Okanagan Information Security Group - Social

At the social we'll work out a monthly schedule of meetings for the group.  The OISG is intended both for people already in infosec and for those interested in it either as a focus or to complement and augment their existing work.
